a series of seven
Sumach leaves contrast with Turkey Oaks in the garden at Castle Cottage, Near Sawrey. Hand printed by Deborah Dawn onto a pale pure Herdwick tweed woven by David McDowell at Farfield Mill, Sedbergh before lockdown in March.
The print has been used to create seven individual cushions sewn with Townhead Tweed for piping & reverse. They are sold in pairs with a plain in Townhead Tweed piped with Tilberthwaite Tweed to reflect the shades of the eco leaf print. The Sumach leaves are still visible outside the window! Feather pads.
They measure 40 to 43cm square.
Each cushion has a specific number in the photographs
